Purpose
Step back in time to the Victorian Goldrush Era and enjoy a friendly welcome, as you help the Viola family maintain the surrounds of the historic Macaroni Factory within the iconic township of Hepburn (near Daylesford), during their 150th celebration year.
Areas of Responsibility
Heritage restoration, weed removal and general conservation works.
Tasks
Volunteers will be involved in weed removal, track construction, heritage restoration & general garden maintenance.
Objectives
Assist the owner Maria Viola to restore & maintain the Old Macaroni Factory & its beautiful gardens.
Special Requirements
There are no specific requirements for the volunteers to join Better Earth projects.
Role Qualifications
There are no specific qualifications or skills for the volunteers to join Better Earth projects.
Training/Supervision Provided
Volunteers will be given given a demonstration on how to carry out tasks by the team leader. Conservation Volunteers employs Team Leaders who are qualiifed in OH&S, Level 2 First Aid & Risk Assessment.
