Purpose
To build strong links with funeral homes and establish the Heart Foundation as the 'charity of choice', with the overall aim of increasing In Memoriam donations received in lieu of flowers at funerals.
Areas of Responsibility
To visit funeral homes and promote the excellent work of the Heart Foundation; Relationship management of an agreed number of funeral homes; Distribute literature; Provide advice and support on a local level; Undertake market research; Promote the Heart Foundation's Legacy Program.
Tasks
Contact and visit funeral homes; Strengthen links with funeral homes to build the profile of the Heart Foundation; Distribute Heart Foundation materials; Undertake market research to identify current donor trends.
Objectives
To increase awareness of the Heart Foundation to funeral homes and the bereaved, with the overall aim of increasing donations received from funerals.
Special Requirements
Driving license is essential.
Role Qualifications
Excellent communicator; Ability to work proactively and effectively without supervision; Empathetic nature; Relationship management skills.
Training/Supervision Provided
Formal training and induction plan (must be prepared to travel to Melbourne for introductory session); Ongoing support from Program Manager; Aim to work independently with minimal supervision.
