Purpose
Assist new migrants to learn about Australian culture and customs and to become familiar with their local community and its facilities and services.

Tasks
Would you like to assist a migrant family in your area to settle more comfortably and quickly into the Australian community? Mentoring can assist new migrants to learn about Australian culture and customs and to become familiar with their local community and its facilities and services. If you are familiar with local services, are able to commit to up to three hours per week for a minimum of 6 months, and are able to relate well to people from a wide variety of backgrounds, you could make an excellent mentor.
