Malaysian Volunteer Visitor

- This position requires applicants to undergo a police check
- This position requires applicants to hold a current drivers licence
- This position requires applicants to have First Aid Certification
Purpose
To help minimize the isolation for an Elderly Asian woman who lives in Clunes who lives alone.rnTo help her improve her well being and to establish friendship between the volunteer and clients.
Areas of Responsibility
Visit the clients at least once a week for a maximum of one hour.rnrnTo observe her well being.rnTo report to the coordinator if the volunteer seen any sign of illness or if the client doesn't look well.
Tasks
To visit an Elderly Maylasian lady who lives in Clunes at keast once a week for a maximum of one hour.
Objectives
To develop a good relationship between client and the volunteer.rnTo make the client feel safe and confident with her friendly volunteer visitor.
Special Requirements
Police Clearance
Role Qualifications
Must have Driver's licence and have a communication skills
Training/Supervision Provided
Training is given before volunteer can start visiting the clients.
