Purpose
To assist Australian Red Cross Victoria (ARCV) to meet agreed responsibilities as outlined in Victoria’s Emergency Management Arrangements by directing, through the regions Emergency Registration Teams, all ARCV emergency registration activities within the Division. This role is responsible for managing the Division’s Emergency Registration and Inquiry function with the support of the Emergency Services Coordinator and Victorian Office staff.
Areas of Responsibility
This position covers the following Local Government areas: Ballarat, Central Goldfields, Golden Plains, Hepburn, Moorabool, Pyrenees Travel within these areas is required
Tasks
• To manage the Emergency Registration and Inquiry function with the support of the Emergency Services Coordinator and Victorian Office staff. • To command all emergency Registration and Inquiry Teams within the Division during activations. • To follow work instructions for the position of National Registration & Inquiry System (NRIS) Emergency Registration Officer. • To stay within the confidentiality boundaries of the State Inquiry Centre (SIC), and Australian Red Cross (ARC).
