Support Group Facilitator

Purpose
To assist with promotion, development and facilitation of the group.The group enables women to gain support, encouragement and friendship
Areas of Responsibility
Facilitate the ovarian cancer support group each month, Welcome and introduce new women to the group.
Tasks
Facilitate the ballarat ovarian cancer support group once every month. Welcome and introduce new women to the support group. Promote the group by liasing with relevant health professionals and hospitals etc. Liaise with Ovarian Cancer Australia
Objectives
Role Qualifications
Preferably a back ground in nursing, social work or dealing with cancer patients. Experience facilitating or manging groups of people. Admin and organisation skills
