Computer Trainer

Purpose
To encourage client with a vision loss to learn computer skills
Areas of Responsibility
Resposible for assisting clients in the Computer Program
Tasks
Assist client to learn computer skills using Zoom text and Jaws program
Objectives
Role Qualifications
An interst in computers,knowledge of Microsoft word and Outlook. Some experience with ADAPT technology would be an advantage but not neccessary. Volunteers would need to be able to work one on one or with a small group.
Training/Supervision Provided
On going training and support is provide. Volunteers would need to undergo an initial volunteer trainingand then computer training.
