Purpose
To provide nutrition and monitoring to vulnerable people in our community.
Areas of Responsibility
Ensure correct delivery of meal to client and report any concerns to Food Services Coordinator.
Tasks
Volunteers are required to deliver meals to the frail aged and people with disabilities. Both drivers and jockeys are needed, drivers are reimbursed with a petrol voucher.Deliveries start between 10.30&11am on weekdays and take about 2 hours to complete.
Objectives
Volunteers can nominate their availability.
Special Requirements
Drivers must have a current drivers licence and a registered vehicle. There are no special requirements for jockeys.
Training/Supervision Provided
Ongoing training and support is provided through the Food Services Coordinator and The City of Ballarat Community Care Service.
